Automatic Changeover Pressure Regulator (Separated Type)

It is one of our commonly use regulators. Regulator makes automatically changeover to another cylinder to supply gas at stabilized pressure rate without stop supplying of gas.

Separated type regulator is fi rst stage pressure reducing portion on unitized automatic changeover regulator. This regulator must be combined with second stage regulator for use.



Description

The main function of automatic changeover regulator is supplying gas without stop by automatic changeover and it is great to be used for the facility which is supposed to supply gas at stable pressure.

Those are especially suitable for homes, mobile homes, cottages, construction. And other potable two cylinders installation.
Empty containers may be replaced without interrupting consumer’s gas service.

Feature

For the connection of the regulator, the PT thread is selected which is international standard to be feasible for connection of piping or hose without extra work.
The method for body material is aluminum die casting design with special coating in order to avoid scratch or cracks from outside condition and corrosion, so it made possible to actualize the long lasting life time at once.

The inside material is all corrosion resistance to make it stable performance for long time.

Also, it provides union connection for outlet connection to make it easy installation and dismantle.



Principle of Operation



 
The Unitized changeover regulator can make automatically changeover one gas cylinder to another one without stop supplying of gas when it has run out of gas. The regulator is unitized with 2nd stage 1st reduction and 2nd stage 2nd reduction regulators. The 2nd stage 1st reduction regulator is equipped with change over function.



By consumption of gas, the pressure inside of 2nd stage 2nd reduction regulator is being lowered and the spring inside of it tends to push the diaphragm until makes it parallel to the pressure rate by reduction side of regulator. At this time, the lever that is connected with diaphragm works to move the valve seat backwards and then the gas is being supplied with reduced pressure through 2nd stage 1st reduction to 2nd stage 2nd reduction regulator.

 

When stop consumption of gas, the pressure inside of 2nd stage 2nd reduction regulator is being increased and this makes push up the diaphragm by spring until parallel to the setting pressure rate and then the lever that is connected with diaphragm makes the valve seat move towards to block the gas flow.
